Sylvia Schaefer successfully defended her Ph.D. research on the sources and fate of coastal nitrogen on June 23. Dr. Schaefer’s talk was entitled “Controls on Nitrogen Inputs, Loads, and In-Stream Concentrations in the Altamaha River, Georgia, and Beyond.”
