The Marine Science Department has been bustling with The Joye Lab getting together their items for their upcoming research trip. Recently, Professor Joye sat down with Chris D'Angelo at The Huffington Post to talk a little more about her plans.

Jeremy Schreier is the latest graduate student to receive a prestigious fellowship. This one is from the National Science Foundation and awards exemplary early- career graduate students.

Our very own Christine Burns has been named as one of 72 finalists selected for the 2019 John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship. Christine will be immersed in the legislative and executive branches of federal government for a year and study a different side of marine science: policy- making.
