Image: Dr. Elizabeth L. Harvey will be joining the Marine Sciences faculty at Skidaway Institute of Oceanography as Assistant Professor! Her research involves a mechanistic understanding of how individual-level interactions between heterotrophic predators and phytoplankton prey drive average grazing rates, including investigations into the impact of phytoplankton morphology, chemistry, and behavior in influencing these interactions. She will be leaving her current postdoctoral position at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and will be joing us in August. We look forward to welcoming Elizabeth to UGA and Georgia.
