Modeling Marine Systems Credit Hours: 3 In this course we explore some of the mathematical and computational methods used in modeling marine systems. As part of the course we examine ecosystem models (e.g. nutrient-phytoplankton-zooplankton or NPZ models), biogeochemical models (e.g. carbon cycle models), and physical models (e.g. models based on the shallow water equations). See The Bulletin for more detailed course information. Level: Graduate
