Regional Oceanography of the South Atlantic Bight Course builds on Geological and Physical Oceanography and Biological and Chemical Oceanography to examine the features of the oceanography of the U.S. southeast Atlantic coast, known as the South Atlantic Bight (SAB). Lectures will introduce broad interdisciplinary processes, with readings and discussions from the primary literature to explore connections among the physics, geology, chemistry, and biology of the SAB.
