Mathematics and Climate Credit Hours: 3 This course explores the basic mathematics describing processes that regulate the climate of the Earth. The course covers climate history, energy balance models, dynamical systems, the Snowball Earth Hypothesis, Earth System Models, El Nino, carbon cycle models, ocean and atmospheric circulation models.
