Dynamics of episodic, seasonal, and mean processes accounting for the transport of seawater and the material it contains through different ocean regimes. Boundary current variability, effects on coastal circulation effects, wind and buoyancy effects at subtidal, tidal, and super-tidal temporal scales.  Processes of biogeochemical relevance are of special interest.
